Kauppila Defends Crown; Fernandez and St. Peter Win Championships

Chris Kauppila defended his Hidden Meadows club championship crown over the weekend with rounds of 78 and 74. His 152 total was seven shots clear of Lucas Shorette and Bill Fernandez, who tied for second place with 159.

Fernandez won the senior division, shooting 79 and 80 for his 159 total, while Kristy St. Peter won the women’s division toured the course with rounds of 96 and 91. Terry Grant was the senior division runner-up with 173 (90-83) while Michele Kauppila took second place honors in the women’s division with 198 (100-98).
