Peter Dufour and son Jeff Dufour joined Rob Olsen and Joe Perdue on The Pulse AM 620 morning show this morning with host Don Cookson to talk about a big birthday party.

Hidden Meadows Golf Course is celebrating its 20th birthday tomorrow, and we have lots of special events planned for the day.

We will be rolling the rates back to 1997, when it was just $7 for 9-holes and $12 for 18-holes. Kids 12-under are only $5 for the day! Cart fees will be $5 for 9-holes and $8 for 18-holes.

No tee times required. Come on out and join the fun!

  3. Square & Compass Club Scramble at Hidden Meadows on Saturday, August 12th

The Star in the East Lodge Square & Compass Club is holding their 6th Annual Scramble at Hidden Meadows Golf Course on Saturday, August 12th. It’s a 4-person scramble and the cost is $240 per team ($60 per play), which includes the tournament entry fee, golf cart, lunch following the round and lots of prizes.

There will be cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place, and players will have a chance to win a brand new car, sponsored by Darlings Ford in Bangor.

To sign up for the tournament, or to sponsor a hole, contact Glen Sherman at 207-478-8846. Proceeds from the tournament are used for an annual scholarship at Old Town High School.

  4. Club Championship is August 26th & 27th

We are taking sign-ups for the 2017 Hidden Meadows Club Championship. The tournament is Saturday and Sunday, August 26th and 27th, and is open to any Hidden Meadows Golf Course member. The cost is $10.

We are expanding the competition this year to include both Gross and Net winners within each division. And as in the past, anyone can play in the ‘Open’ division. We will also have a Senior division (age 62-older), a Women’s division and a Junior division (age 18-younger).

Everything is up for grabs this year as none of the 2016 champions will be here to defend their titles. 3-time winner Cole Daniel will be headed off to school, Alan Hussey is in Florida recovering from knee surgery, and his wife Maggie, our women’s champion, is in Florida helping him recover.

You can sign up in the pro shop or call the clubhouse at 827-4779.
