  1. Old Town High School Varsity Golf Team Finishes 18-1

    Congratulations to the Old Town High School varsity golf team. Good job finishing with an 18-1 regular season record. And congratulations to Cole Daniel, Chris Kauppila, Lucas Shorette, Devan Morin, Andrew Moreira and Darin Gardner for qualifying for the upcoming PVC Championship on Thursday. Alex Blackie and Wes Kauppila will have an 18-hole playoff on Tuesday morning to decide the final roster spot for Thursday’s tournament.

    Saturday, September 27th: Riverfront Pub Scramble, 12 p.m. shotgun start.

    Saturday, October 4th: 2-Person Big Cup Scramble, 10 a.m. shotgun start.

    Sunday, October 5th: Garford Golf Scramble, 10 a.m. shotgun start.

    Saturday, October 11th: Charity Golf Tournament for Sarah’s House, 10 a.m. shotgun start.

  4. Member-Guest & Rotary Tournaments This Weekend

    The annual Rotary Scramble and the annual Hidden Meadows Member-Guest tournaments are coming up this weekend.

    The Rotary Scramble is on Saturday, with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The entry fee is $200 per 4-person team ($50 per person) and includes cart, green fees, lunch, flag events and prizes. First place is a $300 payout. Save $25 ($6.25 per person) and pre-register by September 18th.

    The Hidden Meadows Member-Guest tournament is Sunday, September 21st. It’s a 9 a.m. shotgun start. The format is a Select Drive, 2 person Best Ball. Each player hits a tee shot. Select which tee shot you want to use, then both players play their own ball for the remainder of the hole. Cost is $50 and includes green fees, lunch, flag events and prizes. Deadline for sign-up is Friday, September 19th.

  5. Sarah’s House Golf Tournament October 11th

    Andrew Moreira, OTHS Student Council President and member of the OTHS Varsity Golf Team, was on 92.9 ‘The Ticket’ sports radio this morning. He was promoting the golf tournament the student council is putting on to raise money for Sarah’s House. The tournament is Saturday, October 11th.   6. Riverfront Pub Tournament Postponed to September 27th

    The Riverfront Pub golf tournament has been postponed due to the anticipated storm(s) coming through the area later this afternoon. The tournament has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 27th, 12 noon shotgun start.
